RE: The Bridgehead at Rzhavets DAR
Turns 11 and 12:
A strong German kampfgruppe pushes north from Rzhavets. It appears their objective is Shakovo, but they may be trying to flank Chursino. I have sent strong armor and infantry forces to stem this threat.
German recon forces captured the undefended town of Rydinka. Russian forces are sent to recapture the town. An armored car and several flammpanzers are destroyed by advancing Russian forces.
Elsewhere in the north, Russian forces prepare to retake Krivtsova.
Overall, the balance of forces in the north favors the Reds...
In the south things look grim. The front is being forced back by strong German forces. The Solov'ev Collective Farm is about to fall. German panzers have taken some losses but seem to be determined to push on.
