Nope, I have a record of everyone who sent me an e-mail from the last post, this is just to say that the website is up and we're getting serious about starting soon.

Drop me an e-mail, there's plenty of room left but what side you're assigned to will be random. I'm contemplating making it open to choice but I need to work out how to make it fair.

I like the random idea; just do this: assign each person a number as they sign up and then go to the random number generator page that you can find in the tournament how to section. Say the first number generated is UK, second is German, third is Uk etc.
IE; Sign up order Weasel (1), Walrus (2), Vesku (3). Generated 2,1,3 so Walrus UK, Weasel German, Vesku UK etc.

That is what has been happening so far: Teams are assigned in the order they sign up. So as it stands:Team 1= Wigam, Walrus, John(txic). Team 2= Vesku, Weasel, Iwo Jim. Once all the calls are in I flip a coin one team winds up British, one team winds up German, and you're competing against the others players on your team.
That was my initial plan. A couple of people have made requests and I have been considering making it possible to choose nations although I have not made a decision so the existing plan stands for now: Sides are random.

I like your way; I think it would be good forcing players to play with a force they are not comfortable with. There are those who always want to play US, German, or Russia and nothing else. Nothing wrong with at all, but I think forcing them to use a force they must study makes it more of a challenge, and the tournament more rounded. Just my opinion.

Team 2 judging by who's in it, i would say have the inside running to be the sneaky germans. :stir:
