Yet again I held in the centre while my flanks gave way in the other two sectors..



Berts infantry and Sherman 105 double-act ruled the woods..




Berts Shermans prowled the city..




My panzers hold the ville but it's not enough to achieve victory..

The guy already fired and scored a non-lethal penetration, then took a hail of return fire (note craters and tracer), but he calmly hacked it then popped up and loosed off this fatal second shot..

Very probably..:)
Trident ends March 31st so after a brief period of R & R for us all, the next one should begin around mid-April..:)
I'm toying with other ideas instead of the Malitz/ Trident format just for a change, such as a team competition of some sort maybe, but whatever it is, it'll be fast-moving, 6 weeks length at the most..:)

My tourneys always attract the fastest players in the world, 22 out of 26 Trident games have been completed in just 4 weeks, that's pretty good going, and there's still 2 weeks left to the finish deadline..:)

And just as praiseworthy are the players who entered despite having heavy real-life commitments and make valiant efforts to beat the deadline..:)

A special mention too for Jawsconan who signed up for Trident only TODAY but is confident he can beat the deadline with just 2 weeks to go..:)

My Stuarts hooked deep into the enemy rear and killed this Stug with side shots, but before I could extricate them this one went up in flames after a whooshy sound from somewhere..
