Hellooo out there..
Due to some real life issues.. many of my opponents have seriously slowed down their turn rates.. I'm bored.. and looking for a battle to brew.. :stir:
so how about this.. I have a modified map of 'Goldfeld' Poland (map comes with the game).. the standard map is big.. 200 x 160. A river with one paultry bridge at the south end runs north to south on the east side..
I modified the map to add some causeways.. 6 I think.. (this map is included in the map pack that some of you received from me - number 270).. but I'll be happy to send the map out for examination..
I have played this map twice now and have not beaten my opponents.. I would like another go around..
In either MBT or WW2.. large battle
if MBT.. 1954 UK (me) assaulting any country..
points = 25K for UK, 20K for opponent..
yep, that's right.. river assault at 1.25 v 1 points ratio
If ww2 - 9/1944 USA vs Germany 20K v 16K
Conditions for both games:
All preferences at 100%, except infantry toughness at 80%
All options are on..
5% of points available for off-map artillery
On-map artillery does not count against the limit - but ONLY artillery units that come as an integral part of an infantry company can be used. Also 1 battalion heavy weapons support formation per infantry battalion.. if a country doesn't have a battalion weapons formation, or integral artillery available - we'll work it out..
both sides get air - qty TBD - no helos
para's are permissable
flags will be custom placed.. 8 on map west of the river, the balance (13) will be east of the river.. (I have to cross the river in order to have a chance at winning..).. flags west of river will be worth 100 points, flags east of river 200 points.. generally the flags will be located in towns.. on the east end of causeways and at road junctions..
If my opponent wishes - they can set the flag locations..
Visibility = 35
Turns = 50 minimum
Defender allowed a maximum of 30 units found under 'forts'
Anybody up for this?
Cheers!
