COMBAT FOOTAGE (mixed sector) - Jawsconans Stug 105 drops church

Main pic - All my Brits in the church are at full strength (green figures) (Coy HQ/ Platoon HQ, 2 x squads and a sniper) a total of 31 men.
Inset - But when the church is demolished a few seconds later 23 men become casualties (red figures).
Note the 3 units who were on the top floor were killed outright as the floor collapsed and they plummeted down.

I send a punitive expedition of 3 x Stuarts racing down the centre to hit it in the side with a swift rapier-thrust..

Glimpsing the union jack through the trees and hearing the rattle of teacups, the Germans decide to call in on the British..

RESULT JUST IN - Jawsconan beats POS

I used a lot of light Stuarts in this one for fast rapier-thrusts into German side armour, the tactic worked quite well but the drawback was the Stuarts tiny gun hadn't enough oomph to blast enemy infantry out of buildings..



As Jawsconans German infantry infiltrate the village, my Stuarts dare not approach closer for fear of a hail of panzerfausts..

Very tight, I was overun in the woods, stalemated in the city but won the tank battle -just- in the centre..




My German squad in the woods-church sees the place surrounded and a Brit flame guy upstairs, so wisely throws in the towel..
