New CM Tournament Coordinator!
Poor Old Spike has been promoted to the Combat Mission Tournament Coordinator.

He will manage and coordinate tournaments for the CM ladder community and award medals and bonus points to the winners and participants.
He will be able to answer any questions and concerns regarding tournaments.
Should any disputes arise during a tournament, he can be consulted as an arbitrator in resolving them along with The Ladder Custodian.

Be sure to congratulate him on his promotion :)

cheers

RE: New CM Tournament Coordinator!
POS, I have a request. A two to four player team tourney. So one could get with their close CM friends have battle in a tourney.

IMO, that is the biggest thing missing in CM - a way to play with somebody rather than just against. CMC was supposed to fix that - but it seems to have dried up like Donovan from the Last Crusade - such a shame.

And I know there are blitz team tourneys - but those are too big to have a feeling of commaraderie

Over at the FGM we are running the Tag Team Tourney where you form a team with your pal... me and Rico are a team for instance and you mirror battle the game against your opponents, for instance I take the Allies in the battle against Nort (who is teamed with mTk) and Rico takes the Axis against mTk.

Yeah my next tourney is scheduled to kick off in mid-April but I haven't finalised any details yet, a team game of some sort would be good, but only if it can be fitted into the Malitz/Trident format somehow.
Both those tourneys threads averaged around an amazing 8000 views each so I'm reluctant to change a winning formula too much..

The mini-tourneys are nice, but I know that some people - including myself - would like to see other kind of tourneys here.

What other tourney ideas do you have planned?
