Must say I was surprised to be bombed by aircraft flying in overcast last time i played it..;)

There is an aircraft in it because it was in the original scenario! :)
Then there was the problem with clear conditions. The German player could go hull down on the embankment and pick off the Russian armour (had it done to me during a play test). So I had to use fog to cut back on LOS but still managed to keep the aircraft in the battle.

Aircraft flying in overcast and fog! Better let your opponent know you've tweaked things or he's not going to be too pleased when you bomb the kr*p out of him..;)
