This is a BIG PROBLEM and requires ATTENTION NOW.

I can't install CMBB on my new Vista machine. The installer disk just will not be read by the new machine and seizes everything up. I have managed to install CMAK, but the text boxes are whited out and hard to make out, otherwise it is ok.

I have the radeon ATI HD 2600 XT video card.

Does this mean I am hooped and can't play CM on my nice new 24" video display?

If anyone knows a fix or can help, it would be appreciated.

Have you enabled Administrator rights for yourself. Try installing as an administrator. That may help.

The Radeon ATI cards are known for the whiteout bug... I got the mods from CMMODS and have them if anyone else needs them.

I had to install CMBB on another computer and then move over to my new computer. Still working on that.

Only kidding... what bugs me is I bought an Nvidia card to get the CM fog as my ATI card didnt I then bought Vista.... Vista doesnt display the fog in CM..!!
