RE: Opponent's Wanted
Jason, by my count you've been rude to at least two people in this thread, and both times it was unprovoked, and no one has done anything but try to respond to a request for a game and/or help you.

It is a requirement of members of this forum that they be civil, and if you aren't inclined to behave that way then perhaps you may be better suited to another forum.

Your attention to this request is appreciated.

RE: Opponent's Wanted
well allow me to entertain you a sec here.
I didn't try anything...yet, but there really wouldn't be any trying involved.. it'd just happen .. and if it did, it'd be in the blink of an eye.. :)

now back to the scheduled programming here

those files names are similar to what everyone uses here for mirror games
we don't name them both the same thing, as they'll get over written and cause a lot of confusion, especially for overly active zealous types.
one is generally the axis setup file, and the other, the allied setup, both with same parameters and maps.

you can also use PBEM helper here at this club, lots of guys preach nothing but praise for it. just do a search on google and it will pop up. it will help you coordinate the files transfer easier and avoid confusion.

Again, good luck, you'll need it ;)

RedDevil, I'm not a newbie so change your tune.

Look:

This is what you said:

"I think the guys are sending you various setups to choose from and then to mirror the one you choose." - RedDevil

"those files names are similar to what everyone uses here for mirror games" - RedDevil

Nice try again.

By the way, I am right. You are wrong. Can you handle that?

Furthermore, custom QB maps? Those have no business on a ladder. Even more not mirrored.

RE: Opponent's Wanted
Swamp,
Why would you say that custom maps have no business on a ladder?

So where have you been playing all your games? What ladder & what handle?

btw, you are a noob here. It is considered rude to barge into a place that you havent been before and start acting like you own it.

Jason;
Whether you are right or wrong matters little to me, but your conduct is unbecoming, and I will not warn you again. Conduct yourself civilly or not at all in this forum please.

Thank you;

Paul

RE: Opponent's Wanted
Swamp, the fact is that everyone here has been trying to help you with the best of intentions.

If they aren't appreciating exactly what is causing you offence, it is because you are not explaining yourself properly. No one could reasonably determine from your posts exactly what your objections are.

Please consider explaining yourself in more detail.
