No one likes good scenarios?
Is it true that there is not a single soul in the SP community who wants to PBEM good scenarios?

I'm playing one scenario with Pvt. Bombadil (it's Beyond the Beach 1 or something like that). It sounds good :)

Towards the end of my playing days I always appreciated a good scenario, maybe even more so than a pick your own battle. I found the scenarios to be more historic usually in the unit composition, which is something I always craved in SP play.

The key word is GOOD. While some are well balanced others are totally nuts. The problem is finding the good ones.

RE: No one likes good scenarios?
Hi All
I agree with Chris...if it is "good", I am up for it.

There is a problem that you cannot really play a "mirror" battle with a scenario as it gives away all the unknown factors.
If the scenario is balanced, then it is all good.

I fought a MBT para scenario recently...did you make that one Chris?.....France vs a WP nation (gee my memory is bad...not enough coffee yet) ...a battle for a cross road / village.
That was excellent and really balanced.

Anyway...who said that no one would play a scenario PBEM?

Cheers
Walrus

Yes, that was Crossroads at Lubbecke, part of my Red Army tournament.

RE: No one likes good scenarios?
Playing winSPWW2 I found some scenarios more playable than battles (which are often too 'haotic' and unrealistic). Though, some exciting scenarios are not balanced well.

Chris
That was a brilliant scenario for PBEM mate...well done! Big Grin
I really enjoyed that one and felt it quite balanced.
Hurrah!
If we still had a reputation system, I'd give you a point Cry

What's up with that anyway?

Cheers

RE: No one likes good scenarios?
I'm wondering why no one is testing the scenarios then?

RE: No one likes good scenarios?
Hi Vesku
Which ones?
I saw some in the test section but they were WAW or H2H...and I only play SPCAMO games.
Point me at the MBT or WW2 scenarios and I'll have a bloody go!
Cheers
