What's wrong with this pic? Yep, Combat Wombats Stuka is bombing its own side, the pilot must have been drinking U-Boat fuel.. (We know the Stuka's the culprit because it's turn 4 and the Russian Sturmovik doesn't arrive til tn 11)
Friendly fire incidents like this are bound to happen sooner or later, nothing we can do about it..

My panzers assault 7Fritzy7's city centre with infantry aboard and swat the Russian guns in no time with no losses.
Halftracks carrying pzgrenadiers may get there faster, but only tanks can do a proper decisive job..

COMBAT FOOTAGE- The Wood




A Stuka strike hit Bootie's rail crossing last turn, so I gamble that it wiped out most of his units and hurl my panzers through the gates at high speed..




My gamble pays off, Russian dead are lying near to the huge Stuka crater and pose no threat..

My last 2 sets of reinforcements have been wiped out as soon as they arrived by your Stuka.... you get a clear run to the end zone.

A clear run mate? Hmm...your Hill reinfs are about to pop up in front of me now, then your big tank force and Sturmovik will arrive in the Town in the background 2 turns from now..;)

Risnervich's newly-arrived Sturmovik goes straight into action bombing the rear of my column, fortunately without hitting anything..
My flakwagon (the brown thing) was on the spot but it never fired or even locked on..

As a few of Face's Russian diehards put up a staunch defence of the church, I leave a small detachment to mop them up and order my main panzer column to bypass them and continue driving eastwards into the vast spaces of the Russian motherland, his turn 7 reinfs will have just arrived at the rail crossing in the wood and I hope to be on them before they can deploy properly..

The first tank-on-tank engagement of the tourney swings the Germans way as DasTigers T-34 comes at them head on to contest the rail crossing but can't beat the 5-1 odds..
My panzers carry the position for no losses..

My flak wagon opens up but fails to deter the machine from releasing a stick of 3 bombs which fortunately landed harmlessly in open fields..
