It's only turn 2 but Warhammer11A's panzer spearhead has already forged across the bridge and is racing towards the empty city, as no Russian reinfs have arrived yet..

Owl's panzer leader sweeps into the city without waiting for the rest of the group and catches this newly-arriving 57mm ATG by surprise..

Ekrommen assaults the river line in 'horns of the buffalo' formation, quickly wrecking the MG-bunker and the gun (red X's)..

I send 2 panzers to conquer Bertram's city and at first it goes well, they demolish the 2 defending guns in no time..




But then it all goes pear-shaped as an engineer squad materialises next to one of the tanks and hurls a square-shaped brown object (inset)
Satchel charge! The tank is ripped apart.
Groan..and the other tank across the street is also hit and wrecked by something invisible from the building over there..

My panzers crested the hill but could advance no further in the hampering trees as Risnervich's armour began coming out of the town to slam the door in their faces..
