well made, Hawk! Party
It was said enough and it should be possible to look straight ahead. Scenario designer, please adapt scenarios, the modifications will come.

Earl,

If you have any issues with the way I moderate the CS forums please send me a PM or an e-mail.

I will leave this thread open provided it does not degenerate.

Thanx!

RE: Closing the assault rule thread
Actually since the conversation has turned into an unproductive circle of a somewhat taunting, and sneering-like French luncheon, rather than a heated discussion of noteworthy essence important to the needs of the community, I think Hawk did the right thing.

If members want to hop on every CS update Thread with a "monkey on a cupcake" attitude, Then I'm going to suggest to the Matrix team that they refrain from providing them answers and attempt to explain things and have the Mods shut down the threads.

Discuss with passion, not arrogance.

RE: Closing the assault rule thread
I've suspended Ed's posting privileges for the weekend. If anyone has questions or gripes about it send them my way not Erik's.

When the Community Commander locks a thread it means he wants it closed for discussion. Opening another thread on the same subject immediately there after is baiting the Moderator pure and simple, and that is not tolerable in my opinion, so consider that a warning, future infractions will draw a suspension.

I understand that this subject has stirred a lot of passions, but it's a game. And it's a game that other people are being paid to develop, design, modify, etc. If you're not one of those people who works on the game, and all you are is a USER and a CONSUMER of the product then by all means provide feed back, but if you can't provide it politely don't provide it at all. If they don't take your feed back, too bad, they're working on the game not you. Go find another game, or go complain about it some where else.

Paul
