Ah, another armchair 'observer'..
Any imbalance doesn't matter because it evens out when the players swap sides for the rematch..:)

Ha ! German advantage ?!? piffle... not when your own Stuka wipes out half your infantry, AA and totally screws up the movement of your main column ... :hissy:
ps: POS, do you want to start our mirror game now ?

COMBAT FOOTAGE- The Hill

As my panzers climb the slope, Herroberst's T-34's launch a surprise attack from top right.. Note also the action at the bottom of the frame as one of my panzers is ambushed on the woods road..

The ambush in detail; the panzer took molotovs, grenades and finally a Sturmovik strafe, at which point the crew abandoned..

My Russian squad in the trees sprays and grenades two of Mad Baron's trucks which are fording the river, forcing the dismount of two squads..

Wigam's panzergruppe advances through the golden fields, combing out the Russians like fleas from a hound dog's back..

Cargol's Russian armour advances to contest ownership of the hill; here my panzers club down a KV2..

But this lone wolf T-34 immediately took revenge by blowing up a panzer..

Kevman's panzers demonstrate one of the most important tactics of CM tank combat- fighting tight.
It means that if you operate your armour in tight groups and begin taking losses, the other members of the group will be on the spot to take quick revenge no matter what's shooting at you.
Here my 57mm ATG knocked out 2 panzers but was soon blown away when their mates began returning fire.

Fighting tight isn't rocket science, just plain good old common sense, even SWAT do it..

WarHammer11A's panzers overun the wheatfield garrison, and the German Company Commander is right up there with his men (circled)

Calmly monitoring proceedings from his Kubelwagen, he proudly reflects on all the hard training he did with his men and this maxim crosses his mind-

RESULT JUST IN

POS 56, CARGOL 44 (Minor win for POS)

Big battle for the hilltop, my German force up there had enough beef on it to resist the Russian counterattack..

HALFTIME SCORES
(The second half will be the mirror rematches- also known as 'payback time'- after which the scores of the two games will be combined, so these halftime rankings shouldn't be taken too seriously, generally speaking the Germans will win or at least draw most of the time.
