All Tourney players, please read !
As Tide1 is organizing a great new tourney, I think this would be a good time to remind players who sign up for a tourney of the commitment they are taking on.
Tourneys take a lot of Gary's own time to organize. Any player who goes missing without informing Gary causes an issue with trying to fill the gap and can effect the result of the whole tourney.
Of course real life can always throw a spanner in the works. If this happens please Email, PM or post on the forum to let Gary know you have a problem, informing your opponent would be a nice touch as well.
In the tourney rules it states "PLEASE NOTIFY YOUR OPPONENT AND I IF YOU NEED TO TAKE TIME OFF FROM PLAYING. A PLAYER WILL BE CONSIDERED AWOL AFTER 1 WEEK OF NO COMMUNICATION AND WILL BE ELIMINATED FROM THE TOURNAMENT."
It should also be noted that players who break this rule are risking future involvement in tournaments.
So please join in and enjoy tourneys, but when problems do occur please show some consideration to your opponent and the organizer!
