I'm pretty adept with the game, but never did PBEM or remote with it.

I think Remote would be better as it will allow Detailed Combat, maybe try to do 1 to 2 hour sessions 3 or 4 nights per week.

I'll play whatever scenario, whatever settings, whatever side, but I think it will be more fun with Detailed Combat on.
