some help please

i have recently bought the cm game beyond overlord but am at my wits end trying to get it to run, i have installed it ok but when i try to run the game i gat a screen telling me i have directx3, my graphics are geforce 7150/nvidia630i, my default screen resolution is 1280 by 800.
I am by no means a 'techy' but i think it might be my directx3, could anyone help me please

i am using xp, the problem occurs when it asks me to accept the graphics card/resoulution settings, when i press accept nothing happens just a blank screen

I have XP too and no problems running the game. Did you install the latest patch? Just an idea, I am no "techy" either.

Did you try, not accepting the screen and perhaps it will work at some lower resolution, etc..
