I've got a niggling problem. I am trying to do a fresh install of SAW onto my partitioned hard drive so I can install the Mod war mod and for some reason the installer does not want to run any more. I wonder if it can detect there is already an install on my machine or something. Any ideas welcome.

Could be. Try renaming the original file to xxxSAW. And see it that helps.

Yes, the problem is that SAW has already been installed using its default folder name. As keif149 says, try renaming it to something other than Soviet-Afghan War then do a fresh install. The mod will install over this latest version. You can always rename your xxxSAW folder back to the original name later if you want. That way any SAW icons should still work.
