Sound Problem with SAW install

I loaded in the Long War mod,works fine. Then I did a fresh install of SAW but I have no sound in same. Any ideas as to what went wrong.

I have had the same issue to no real resolution, even after talking with IronX about a possible work-around. I uninstalled SAW, then reinstalled it, but as long as I have Long War, my SAW doesn't not seem to have sound.

Often the problem with no sound occurs when you directly copy the files from the disk without running the setup. If you've done this, try locating the set up file in the SAW main directory and run it. It should work. I have both SAW and the LW working with sound (without doing anything special to make it work). If this doesn't work, let me know and I'll see if I can find another solution.

I finally got it to work after deleted the SAW folder, running the uninstaller, re-installing, patching with 1.01 and running.

Not sure why it didn't take the first time, but perhaps there was a step that I was missing in my process...
