Help with PLBEM Game in West Front
Hey I was wondering is there a way to change the save directory for a pLay By email game, I mean I sent the save to the other person and everytime we have to send or receive it we have to find it in

computer>C>Prog Files>Talonsoft>West Front

I tried making a folder to put them in called West Front saves on the sesk top to eliminate the whole process, only problom is when I try to go to the scenerio and resume it the battle save is not in the list to the left.

also when I saved the file (KS Battle.Btl) to the West Front folder when I get into the game and try to continue it the battle does not appear on the list. that is a problom I am having currently please if you can help do so.

Not sure if that's possible, but the way I do it is name your .bte file beginning with !!. ie. !!_keif_vs_nobody.bte If you have your directory set to "arrange by name" your file will be easy to find in the first column. I make an incoming and outgoing folder and save at least the last two game files, either incoming or outgoing. In these I number them to the turn I just played.
I'm sure there are many other ways also.

Are the .bte files in your WF directory? My example is RS.

Also, if you did not specify a name for pbem file, that is what the game's default name is.

Well, now I'm thinking that .bte file in your pic, actually is the game you are playing. When you end your turn in PBEM, you have the option to call it whatever you want. As long as it ends in .bte

You could call yours !!gunfight.bte for example.

My PBEM folder is where I keep track of my games. It is not necessary.

PanzerIV Make sure your saving your PBEM files as a bte. file and not as a btl. file as you described in your post.

thats not our battle we have our battle set at 50 turns and that in is only 11. also I think I know part of the problom when I go into the west front file the battle in question does not show up untill I press "Show Compatibility Files" I have no clue what this means or how to make it work. I am on Vista.

also I have these Flame throwers and I can't figure out how to actually make them through flames, lol they just shoot the guns.
