EIF Patches

I was able to resolve my installation issue but now have a question regarding the update patches for the games. Quite simply, I don;t remember the procedure. It seems to me that there was a file that I needed to delete before installing the WF & EF patches, but I don't recall which one.

Would appreciate some help here.

Where is:

For EFII with FOTR
Install PB#1
Select Components
Select Version (1.03)
Continue with remainder of the installation
Install the Blitz's EF II expansion Project Blitzkrieg #2 (PB#2) if you have it

And, do I need it?

No, it is not required.

PB#1 was an expansion disc that was released by the Blitzkrieg Wargame Club. I don't believe it is available any longer, but the new units are available on the Matrix version of the Campaign Series. In addition, the scenarios (at least the ones I included) will be updated and included in a future UPDATE for the Matrix Campaign Series.

As I understand the updates, since I loaded FOTR, I need not download and execute any other patches in order to be compatible with other gamers.

Do I understand this correctly?

If you installed FOTR, you will be compatible with most Talonsoft East Front players.

No, unfortunately you will have to purchase the Matrix version.
