Who Likes Big Fires?
About as much fire as I've ever seen!!?? Hill 210 blazing away near Gonovka, southern Russia, July 1942. Two photos.

>>A close-in view looking SW across Hill 210.

>>Another view from the other side of the hill, looking NE, with an active T-34 bottom left, and a burning StuG IIIB (lower center, with another close-by fire) adding to the fun. From this shot, you can even see a wheatfield burning off in the distance, upper left, and another smaller fire to the nearby upper right.

~~Like California after a lightning storm!~~ ;)

Tactical Question: Did anyone remember to bring wieners and marshmallows??? HaHa

Fires set by opponent's gunfire. Very dry conditions. The fires just kept spreading!....Eek
