Question about Volcano mod Alt scenarios

I occasionally play the Alt scenarios in the Volcano mods. Some stock scenarios in Minsk and Budapest say they are optimized for play against the AI in these games. Does this hold true in an Alt scenario? I have always assumed the optimization had to do with AI actions. Is this correct?
Do the Alt scenarios use the same optimized AI?

99% of the time, the _Alt scenario is identical to the great stock scenarios, they just have different unit ratings and PDT values to make it play differently. On in some cases, which are documented in the notes file, are there more changes made. This is mostly true with campaign scenarios. So yes, if something says it is optimized for AI then it will be the same in both.
