sorry to have dropped the ball on this.. I've been really busy, and have been having some health issues to boot.. I've had to make choices as to which games to carry on with (only 2 actively running right now..) wanted to be able to continue ours, but unlikely to be able to..

I can understand Greybeards problem, Life sometimes gets in the way of SP. Myself, only now have I been able to get back online after a 2 week abscense.I had computer problems plus I broke up with my girlfriend ( I think her name was Susan ) She said I was'nt paying enough attention to her but actually I feel the real cause was that she resented me making her video tape me playing SP.

Anyway, to my opponents ,i just got back online minutes ago...turns are on the way

Good to hear you're back on line.

You should think about getting a second computer as a back up. You may be able to pick an old one up on Craigslist for a few shillings.

That way, when one gives you trouble, you can use the back up to get on line and trouble shoot the problem. And...you'll still be able to play SP. :smoke:

I have tought of that but I understand that The game will only play on 1 computer. Is this not so? Will there not be a secuity issue if you load an ongoing game to a new computer?

I saw online laptops going for as low as $0.028 cents. An Acer. Shucks, I'd spend ten bucks if it was a DEll.

I'll get to our game soon. Right now I'm consoling a women who is going to break up with her boyfriend in about ten minutes.

My understanding is that SP will only play on one computer for 'full security', but can be played on different PCs with 'Basic Security' which includes PBEM campaigns.
