RE: AIW Tourney Thread-Progress
How about a status report from the remaining games?

Good progress being made?

I was playing an AIW game with him recently and did the same thing. After talking with him, he mentioned that he started a new job and only had access to the internet on the weekends. I'll touch base with him to figure something out.

Jason and me are halfway through both games. He will be out of town for the rest of the week and I am waiting for his turns.

RE: AIW Tourney Thread-Progress
Thanks for the updates.

Parabellum has left the tourney and forfeited his two games to Stepan. I have given Stepan tactical draws on both scenarios, giving him 30 pts. With this leaving us one man short when the second round comes, I will allow Stepan to take my slot and use my paring, as low as it is, to place him. This is fine with me, I'm busy enough with other stuff.

I've also allowed him to record both of these abandoned matches as Major wins on the ladder if he chooses to, given that he put forth the effort to get them going, but had his partner leave in the middle. Parabellum wound up abandoning a match that we were playing as well, but I gave myself a Draw for that match. I'll leave it up to Stepan, but I will allow him to claims wins if he so chooses.

RE: AIW Tourney Thread-Progress
Thanks for the update, Paul. Keep plugging.

In a new development, I've been able to find a replacement for Parabellum: Riley Smith. I was initially going to have him just join up for round two, but since both of these guys have 1-2 turn/day turnarounds, I have decided to have them take each other on in Round One. This may extend the tourney a little longer than I initially wanted, but I think it keeps the integrity of the overall point totals in tact a bit better.

This also gives the two other teams still playing a bit of breathing room. I won't be howling down your necks to finish up over the next two weeks!

Riley, Stepan, good luck!

RE: AIW Tourney Thread-Progress
I have sent the first two (mirror) turns to Stepan. I'll be able to do at least one turn per day, occasionally two.

Let's rock and roll!
