Battle has started,turn 8 so far and nothing serius to report,
one inf unit spotted so far and was checked by MG fire.
Opponent seems to moving with caution not exposing its units.

The area that my KG has to defend its a wide one covering the eastern approaches of the airfield and the airfield itself.
Due to the fact that my forces are limited i ve decided to give some ground to the Russkies and wait for them in the vincinity of the airfield
My opponent seems to be confident hopefully the unopposed advance of his so far will make him careless.

This is the start of the second turn. They are so close!

I have them pinned down with MG fire from both of their flanks but I think their numbers may be too great, not sure if i will be able to hold out. Some form of mortar fire is raining down on the main flags but no serious casualties so far.

It looks like I am massively outnumbered, the tanks are pinning down my MGs that should be making mincemeat of the russians in the open so i've decided to open up all of my guns to try and take out the T-34s[/i]

The 76mm guns quickly dispatched the T-34s and Combat Wombat seems to have advanced some of his troops into his own arty strike, I have one unit panicking around the flag but I think I should be able to hold out here.

I may try and move my plt on my left over to the middle but i don't think there is a good enough covered route to get them there

I m sure this will have a great effect on his morale!!
Make sure if possible that those tanks are unserviceable by having a few more shoots at them if they were tagged as abandoned.
