von Tirpitz (a new member but old friend) has been fantasizing over that game...and keeps pestering me to buy it...you may get him to bite and he's already got the game...
I've been playing WitP for years (one campaign game is up to February 1943).
I've got AE, but I'm waiting for the paper manual to arrive in the mail and the first patch or two to dig into it in detail. I've installed the digital download and played around a bit. There's an amazing amount of detail in AE, and the team seems to have addressed many of the pet peeves of the community with stock WitP.
