RE: A tournament question for you
Smedley's tournament, where we play both turns at the same time, I now feel is the most fair way to play a mirrored tournament. I've played in some that seemed to lose something in the second game. If your opponent beat you, you find yourself wanting to duplicate his tactics. If he beats you the second time, you find yourself facing the sudden and uncomfortable realization that maybe you really suck.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly
