Balkan Warrior,

Using your map I would say that our objective is a dual one. The defensive part is, obviously, keeping our flags. The offensive part, in my opinion, has two objectives. One is to squeeze of the shoulders of their penetration along the main road (particularly close to their entry map edge) and the other is to prevent them from advancing further west along the main road again.

In order to do this I deployed two Luftwaffe companies in defensive postures, while using the Heer one to advance in these two directions. I am hoping that I can block the main road to the west before they reach the flag but, since I will be advancing on foot, I am far from certain.

The attack on their entry point will, beside a half of the Heer company, be supported by a small Luftwaffe inf force from the southern group. So two-pronged. I am keeping the T-34 in reserve as my AT resources are extremely limited and I do not want to risk it prematurely.

Ratski! I just sent my set up file to Rommel!

Hi Glider and Joonny! :)
Hope your weekend is going well! I'm as happy as a lark, since this is my last day in Afghan Land! Tomorrow at "O Dark Thirty" I'm off to Dubrovnik! Can't Wait!
Glider[u]! [/b]
Thanks for your reply and comments on regarding your approach! It sounds good to me! But, I think I will stay with my original strategy! (See attached overlay)
Let's keep each other, and Joonny, updated with Sit Reps regarding how our battles are going, and pass on any intelligence we gather regarding the Ruskie OOB and tactics!
Thanks for your input and have a great day!

Unfortunately (see the attachment) the Russians are deployed much further west than I expected so, instead of blocking them, I am groping for their flanks as they are advancing westwards.

If they exit the western edge of the map what happens? Did they make a breakthrough?

This has to be clarified by Ratzki.
But i think if we cut them off their suplly routes the have to suffer some penalties in condition and in ammo-fuel status.

Hi Glide! Thanks for the intel! If your attack succeeds, then you should be in good shape in cutting the supply lines of the Ruskies1
