New Scenario Up at H2H
Hello Blitz Folks,

There is a new scenario up for play testing over at H2H. It is done in East Front Matrix Version. It is titled "Forty-Five Clicks to Moscow"

Try it out. It needs some play testing and I need some honest opinions about it.
Cheers to All!

John,

Good luck with it!

I will download it and await any sturdy lad to step up and test it with me. Eek:chin:

I've had much help with mine and I'd like to help you out with yours. :smoke:

And, as always, honesty is my policy. :)

Earl,

File on the way to your Roadrunner ISP account. :smoke:
You may want to update your e-mail address in your forum profile. ;)

I signed us up as testers. Let's see what we find? :chin:

It is updated on my view of the member page.......not sure why it still shows the old address when others view my profile.

The member page and forum page are two different fields. It is correct on your member page and ladder info.
You need to change it in your User - CP area of the forum.

Though, once "venus" is ready there will be only one main field. :chin:

cheers

RE: New Scenario Up at H2H
Ed and Earl,

Thank you very much for your objective opinion on my scenario "Forty-five clicks to Moscow" I really appreciate it!!

Now to the business at hand and please feel free to chime in.

Fixed transports: I can fix that in version 2.0. What a tried to simulate there was German paralysis in the face of General Winter. You both commented that there were to many easy victory points to be had with these units. I can either unfix or eliminate 50% of them. If I eliminate it would somewhat simulate the fact that not many German vehicles were running well in -40F temperature during the real conflict.

Victory Hexes: My take on victory hexes is cheap ones up forward and cream of the crop ones towards the rear. With that I feel it forces the attacker to press hard within the time limit of the scenario to gain the plate of ham at the end! However, like was said in your analysis it can force the defender to hold in depth. What do each of you think about eliminating some of the bigger VP hexes in favor of an extra exit hex?

Russian Armor: Was it to much? Would it be better to remove say six platoons of tanks and increase the percentage chance of the reinforcements coming in?

Your thoughts?
