Ed,this theme comes in three 'flavors'. Control Panel->My Options->Change Options->Theme and select 'blitz_1024' or 'blitz_wide' .Perhaps one of those will fit better on your screen?

I changed to blitz 1024 and it is a little better.
I hope to get the new monitor tomorrow. I will fiddle more with it then.

Yes, it was a bit confusing, but here I am, finally! :happy:

I ended up deleting all the cookies that my browser had from TheBlitz, now I am able to log in both to the site itself and to the message boards as well!

I seem to still have an issue with the Ladders, though.

I recently finished a game, and despite all my efforts to log the result as having played the second side (Allies), it gets logged in as having played Axis?

I reported the game as the scenario reports it: Major Loss. The result appears to be correct for me in the ladder: a Major Win.

I am definitively sure I marked myself playing the Allies.

I do realise that most likely the bug resides between the keyboard and the chair :hissy: but a helping hand would be appreciated.

I did try this several times...

The data itself seems to be OK? This is the email confirmation I got:

The new site looks great. A couple of quick questions though:

1. When I went to my profile, I realized I had been "promoted" one rank sooner than expected. In other words, the last time I checked the table of ranks I didn't have enough points to get to where my profile shows me. Has the table of ranks scoring changed somehow?

2. When I tried to go to the table of ranks to confirm...I couldn't find it. I'm sure I'm just getting used to the changes, but it is still there somewhere, correct?

Once again, kudos on the website. It looks fantastic and I'm sure I'll while away more time from work than usual look at all the new eyecandy!

Yeap,the rank is correct ;) The current rank works somehow different than the old one(s).In the past you would have one rank for each ladder you played.You could have been Colonel on ladder A and a captain on ladder B.Now,there is only one 'global' rank which combines all your points from all the ladders you're playing and much more.You might regard the current rank as a 'site' rank(where all your contributions are listed) rather than a ladder rank.
In your particular case,i see you have 1079 on the CS ladder and another 65 from bonuses.You need 1100 to be ranked as a Sergeant.Obviously the bonus points did the trick :)
The table of ranks hasn't been converted yet to the new format.Expect to see it in the next couple of days,though.

Why did I have to log in twice.....once to the new site,only to find I had to log in again to the MB?

I am working on it,but for the time being you'll have to login on both the site and the forum.

Mmm, unfortunately not quite... While the players are now shown to have played the correct sides, the Ladder shows the Allied player as having played the first side.

This particular scenario had Axis as the first side.

I logged the result today, you should be able to find the entry quite easily from the CS Ladder as well in case you apply a fix.

Ok,i'm a little confused :)
Take the game between you and Zap for example.
You played with the allies and Zap with the axis,right?
And it ended with your major victory?

Yes, Germans as first side. Major win for my Poles.
