RE: No Tournament for Old Men
The standings have been updated with the results of a 4th round mirror game.

Five participants have completed the first five rounds:

Scud
Panzerjaegar
Smedley
Relayer
Majog

We still have one 3rd round game to complete (ending Feb. 16th). Given vs FScout.

We still have one 4th round game to complete. Given vs Landser.

We still have three 5th round games to complete.

Once the 3rd and 4th round games are completed, I may be able to set some pairings for the final round of play. If so, I will email the participants.

Standings are current as of this date.

One match left in round 4, ending March 18th.

I've been told the fourth round match is proceeding within the time limit.

With three of the six matches completed in round 5, we could be looking at our final round in April and the completion of the tournament in June.

Not bad! A nine month tournament when most go well over a year!

Hi Pat: :smoke:

Message for when you return... and have Internet access again.

Please change my nick name to Kool Kat instead of Mwest. :eek1:

Also, IMHO you are running a very "smooth" tourney - grats! cheers

But... would really like to get to finish in this tourney. IMO, it is starting to "drag out" some... and I'm getting ready to "ramp up" in a WF team campaign shortly that will take a lot of my attention and gaming time.

RE: No Tournament for Old Men
OK Kool Kat,

Two reported games while I was gone and we only have one more mirror game going in round five (The Siberian's are Coming).

The official ending date for round five is May 20th. This is a contest between Montana Mud and John Given.

I know Mud is a fast player and John told be he has sent Mud the first turn already. This contest may well be finished long before the official date.

Section "A" has been won by Smedley and he will be playing the last round for the championship. Section "B" is being lead by Montana Mud, but Given could move into 1st place with two major victories.

Given could also move into 2nd place or third or fourth or fifth, so I can't make final round matchups until that game is completed.

However, I can make one final round matchup and that will be Majog versus Kool Kat (Mwest).

Final round is: "Unexpected" WF and Majog and Kool Kat (Mwest) may begin that round immediately.

My best,

Pat
