Rookie looking for a game
Hello everyone,

I hope I'm posting this in the right forum. If I'm breaking any rule, please accept my apologies.

Just like the thread title says, I'm looking for a game (Matrix JTCS 1.04), preferably a small one.
It's the first time I venture into PBEM territory and I don't want to commit to too big a scenario for now.
My opponent will have to guide me through the first few steps of PBEM as well.

Being only an occasionnal DCG player, I may not be the toughest of opponents. I'd actually rate my abilities as high as those of my illustrious avatar.

As you can see, hard sell is not my strong point. ;)

Anyway, if a fellow member is willing to teach me the ropes, I'm ready to do battle.
EF, WF, RS, you choose.

Cheers,

WK

Comrade WK:

Welcome Sir and yes you've done everything correctly in posting here. This is the place to find some great players on of the best wargames around.

I wish I had some space and time to play a game with you but at the moment I'm over booked. I'm sure you'll find an opponent soon enough to take up your challenge.

Just wanted to welcome you on board...

Bertrand,

Welcome to the Blitz Mons Amis. I'm sure you'll find some good opponents to play against here. Posting on the MB for a game is like throwing chum in the water looking for sharks... They are pretty much guaranteed to show up.. Shark LOL...

Take care,

Jim

Hi Bertrand!

Welcome to the club. If you don't find any takers let me know. I'll see what I can do.

RE: Rookie looking for a game
Hello everyone,

It's been a week since I issued an open challenge, and I have yet to find any opponent. I can't imagine my fellow members are afraid. Big Grin
There must be other reasons. Could it be that you guys are too busy with your current games to give me a good ass-kicking? Or is it that you're all doubting the abilities of Stalag 13's amazing Kommandant? :eek1:

Anyway, I'm respectfully issuing my challenge again.

If anyone of you feels like using some of his time to teach a rookie a few tricks, I promise to be as good a student as anyone can be.

Being new on this board, I hope you won't judge too hardly my eagerness to fight.

Cheers,

WK
