If so, how does it play in multiplayer? I'd be interested in a smaller scenario playing the Luftwaffe in case anyone is up for taking command of the 8th, or perhaps the RAF.

Sergio and I are engaged in a full Bob 1940 campaign and having a lot of fun. This game is at it's best with multiplayer though the AI will give you a pretty good game of it. If I didn't already have so many games going now I'd give you a game but I'll have to pass for now. Hope you find a taker!

I'm new to this game, but I'm interested to play a scn in BOB or BTR, any side, only by PBEM... Should you're interested, please let me know.

Thanks, I do have a PzC 140 turn game going atm and will hold off this title until that game is finished. We are currently on #23 so it might be a while unfortunately. It's good to know there are people playing air war strategy though, looking forward to go up against the mighty 8th under human command.
