Tactics Articles--For the newer players
Gents,

It's been great to see so many new guys making themselves active here in the SB community. I was hoping that Red Victory would bring out some new blood. Posting about tactics and the like has been increased here, and on GameSquad and Wargamer's SB forums, so I thought I'd give a plug to some cool stuff you can find about SB on Task Force Echo 4.

There are a set of tactics articles written a few years ago that I think new guys, as well as veterans of the SB world would enjoy and serve as a nice starting point. I re-read these every so often.

Newbies to the SB world should take a look around Task Force Echo 4 in general. Lots of cool stuff relating to just about every SB title, both commercial and game-Mod.

At the very least, take a poke at the article called Grunt School. It's Squad Battles 101 from one of the early SB greats, the original Echo-Four, Frank Harmon.

Yes it is. It was included in the liner notes for the Korean War.
