RS Scenarios
I know it's subjective, but does anyone have an opinion regarding the best Rising Sun scenarios for PBEM, both in terms of balance and enjoyment?

RE: RS Scenarios
Hurricane on Biak is a classic. The Battering Ram, Merchant of Venice, maybe The Battle for the Tennis Court fill the bill nicely. All of Curt's work is first class history, and deserves a lot more playing time.

RE: RS Scenarios
Hi Dave: :smoke:
I humbly nominate my H2H-approved... Terror on Tarakan as a good PBeM RS scenario. It plays quickly... and has a low unit density count. In many of my test games... the lead changed hands several times... with victory only being determined in the final turns.

RE: RS Scenarios
I've only played a couple of RS scenarios, thus the question. Terror on Tarakn (as a play tester) and Hurrinane on Biak, both of which I really liked. I have an opponent who's asked me to pick, so maybe I'll try the second on KKR's list, "The Battering Ram".
Mike, I know you don't like playing with the Banzai. Anybody else feel that way? I kind of want to go with majority club rules, if there are any for RS.
Thanks,
Dave

I've played "The Battering Ram" ... both sides... several times. It is a very "non-typical" RS scenario since the Allies have huge amounts of armor versus the Japanese with their inferior AT capability. Between equal-skilled players... it is an exciting and fun match... one of the better RS scenarios. The "stronger" skilled player should take the Japanese.
Dave, you are "spot on" with my sentiments on Banzai. I believe it to be an ill-conceived and implimented rule. I'm lobbying to have it removed in the 1.05 patch.
