game scoring
I'm new here so this has probably been explained before but I've failed to find the thread. So here is my problem:

From the Rules of Engagement (https://www.theblitz.club/rules_of_engag...ing/rid=12) I read that the size modifier is defined as the "sum of the total unit points for BOTH sides" and in the absence of a handicap modifier the product of this figure and the victory points assigned to the result yields the scenario score.

However when reporting Quick Battles the only options available have the assumption that all QBs are Meeting Engagements embedded in them. For example recently I finished a drawn 3000point assault. Yet when I came to report it (https://www.theblitz.club/report_game/) the nearets match I could select was "(L) CMAK Quick Battle 3000 pts".

Now 5 victory points are granted for a draw and on the ladder I was awarded a score of 25 points. From which I deduce the size modifier was 5 i.e. for a total battle size of 5500 - 6999 points. This implies a ME where both sides had 3000 points of troops.

For any other type of battle (probe, attack, assault) the attacker is given more points than the attacker (in this example greater than compassed by this bracket). Hence the size modifier is understated for these kinds of battles?

RE: game scoring
This is a good point - I've thought about that before, but chalked it up to "this is just the way it is." I suppose b/c there's no way to report whether it was attack/defend or a ME?

RE: game scoring
We had this discussion a long long time ago on the SP ladder. Assaults and advances, by their nature, are far more difficult for the attacking player yet he is awarded the same points as if it were an ME game, so why put yourself through it? It was at this time that Paul (Steel God aka Templar) made ADV/ASS battles worth 2X the amount of an ME game to reflect the tougher game.

Perhaps something like this can be done here? Instead of just QB 1000pt it could be QB 1000pt ME and QB 1000pt Adv/Ass.?
