The Germans divided their airborne assault into four groups for four different objectives in Northern Crete. Due to a shortage of air transports the German planned two wave assault, the second wave will use transports returning from first wave. Here is a first wave objective at Profitilias.
The British anit aircraft guns protecting Canea, the capital city of Crete,
a key objective for the second wave.
