Mod in progress

Hi all,

It's my first message in this forum but I'm registering since June.
I'm a french and new player on Squad Battle.(so excuse me for my poor english)
I think that the HPS's games are really great but not very beautiful.
I began to play with PzC because Jison make a mod which greatly improve the aesthetics of the game.
So, I wanted to do the same for Squad Battle by inspiring me a lot of Jison's mod.
I publish two screens. If you want post your opinion, it will be great!

PS : I was only working, for the moment, on the hex, the counters and I modified the fields.

I like what you have done a lot! Looking forward to seeing more develop (especially for villages, towns, etc which are the real sticking points for me.) I like the Jison style textures.

That is a pretty big color leap from the green to the yellow in the second pic though.

It's true that the color wasn't adapted. I changed it.
I reworked the trees too.

Great work, good to see DBP getting some love, and these files could, most likely, be applied to the other Vietnam based games...

When you come to a point that you'd like to put it out to the SB community, I'd be willing to host the files over on Task Force Echo 4. Just let me know!

This will be a pleasure that you host this mod on your site.
And a last screen with the jungle modified(but not finish).

I think that I will rework the trees because they are no longer in harmony with the jungle.

I changed the trees to make it less round and they associate better with the jungle.

Nice work thus far. Just drop me an EMAIL when you get closed to finishing and we can go from there. Would be willing to give it a look-see on my PC when you get closer to being done if you want someone to give it an up-close glance before the final release.

You could already tell me what is not working well.
