Attaching files to a thread?
I created a PDF file from an MS Excel, and tried to attach it to World in Flames Tournament Thread...

For some reason I can't see the attach file option anywhere?

I then created a personal folder, and put the file there, but I do not see the Get the HTML code -option anywhere, so that I could share it...

What am I doing wrong here? :bang:

EDIT:

von Manstein figured out the first question I had. For some reason, it is not possible to attach files to a thread in the Tournament section of the CS Forum?

I still not have managed to figure out how to create a link to a file, located on a folder I created under my user profile?

RE: Attaching files to a thread?
I have checked the forum. The attachments setting is off. Setting a link to your pdf in the "Your Files section" of your profile is a better use of the blitz system resources. Attaching files in the forums directly eventually runs out of allocated space. There is more space in your files area of your blitz profile. Placing files in your profile files area allows you better one stop control also. That way updates are more easily managed that trying to track down that single post where the old file resides.

Let me know if you have any trouble posting the link to your files stored in your profile.

RE: Attaching files to a thread?
I agree re the storadge requirements. I did not see the option for obtaining the Html link on my profile however. Is it because I have the file only available to members?

I could as well have it fully public, there's no email addresses or anything there...

That is not necessary. See my response to your tournament forum post.

RE: Attaching files to a thread?
Thanks Doggie,

I replied there. For some reason I do not see the "Get HTML code" option available in the menu.

I will have another look in the evening...
