I've started reading Victory Was Beyond Their Grasp: With The 272nd Volks-Grenadier Division From The Hurtgen Forest To The Heart Of The Reich by Douglas E. Nash. It's an in depth study of one VG unit during the final months of the war utilizing recently discovered documents (pay books, personal letters, etc.). So far it's very interesting. My only wish is that the book was hardbound & not softcover (more durable).

I too use the pretense of asking for book titles to advocate the practice of sending teenagers to fight wars
