Have I done something wrong?

Think you need to check that you're logged on, into the site (button on right, in the banner) otherwise you are visiting the site as a guest?

Nope - definintley logged on, that was the first thing I checked.

Happens to me sometimes too.......hopefully were not on the list and it is just a small nuisance type thing....:-)

You might want to double check that you're logged on to the site and not just the forum. There's been times when I was only logged into the forum (probably some browser cookie error) and couldn't view people's profiles.

Larry, that was my understanding. Especially with the latest version of the site. :chin:
Everyone clearing their cache and relogging may help.
I also thought there was a "block" e-mail option. Maybe that was clicked on?

I have noticed that the multiple logins are very much reduced. Every once in a while I find that I'm logged into only one of the two. Could be old cookies on one of the machines I regularly use to connect to the site mucking things up.

The site has two log in's, this is because the log in on the forum page comes with the MYBB forum software we use (and we cannot remove it) and of course there is the log in for the rest of the site.

Not a good situation by any means and it does cause some confusion, i have talked to Raz about this issue in the past and to solve it would not only take a hell of a lot of work on his part but would mean we could not update MYBB in the future to take advantage of the latest anti hacking features.

So i am afraid we are stuck with two log ins. :(

From what I remember, if you log into the site, you're logged into the forum automatically, but the reverse doesn't necessarily happen, i.e. you can be logged into the forum and not the site.

I believe accessing player records requires logging into the site, so if you were only logged into the forum, you get the access denied message.
