used to be that all the SP game had to be loaded starting at 1.0, then upgraded in order of each release up to the latest..

I still have the 4.25 update file.. I keep them all just in case I need to reload..

key parts of each version is the game engine file, and the oob files.

you can load any newer version, then reload an older update and it will work just fine as the older version.

in your case, you could load up 4.5, then install the 4.25 mod which will overwrite the newer version files. the only thing the game tracks in the securty features is the OOB files. If the OOB's don't match for both opponents, there will be issues. you can even have a newer version, and reload the older version OOB's and the game will still function

Thanks but there's no need for the old version anymore, we upgraded to 4.5.
