RE: To&e and oob's
Check with shortrengage. IIRC he was S-2 for the 1st Armored sometime during the 70's and has a LOT of TO&E stuff for both Pact and NATO. Ever wonder why the Soviets produced the BTR-50 at the same time they built BMP-1's? It seems the BMP was limited to about 33" of snow. More then that and they got stuck. The BTR-50 had a much higher profile and therefore much higher ground clearance. So it could go through the snow base in Finland, which was over 40" on the average. I've changed computers since he sent it to me, so you'll have to contact shortrengage.
Meanwhile, if you are still looking for some easy points, I'm returning to the fray in a limited manner.
