Need my First PBEM FWWC France '14!! {CLOSED}
HI Fellow Comrades,

I am looking for my first PBEM opponent for FWWC France '14. I'd like to start with a medium to large scenario. I can usually dish out 3 to 4 turns a week. Rules are negotiable, but I am very flexible. send me a PM or Email to LaGrandArmee21(at)Yahoo(dot)Com

Cheers!!

Fred

I see you have already started but for future reference the Battle of Charleroi scenario is really good: 1914_0822_02s: Lanrezac, the Defiant
There is plenty of action! What's more, this area is a key battle when you finally play the Grand Campaign.:smoke: jonny

We ended up starting A dagger to the heart, September 1914. It's looking like it may turn into a grinder. This is my first foray into FWWC France '14 as well.

Looks like a real tough slog for the Hun with plenty of fresh French troops coming on constantly. The game is a meat grinder with enormous casualties no matter what scenario you play; Napoleonic infantry tactics meet machine guns and rapid fire explosive shells. Is the Hun making any progress? jonny :conf:

Another thing about this scenario: It takes place after the Marne Campaign and we see the beginnings of Trench Warfare & Wire. I'm guessing right now that a German breakthrough is impossible and His troops will be slaughtered on the wire. The Volcano Guy really sees through all the smoke and arrives at an accurate representation seemingly in every scenario. He was somehow guided; it's all to accurate to be purely a product of research.
