Mad_Dog wants YOU to play in a Africa at War Tournament

If anyone is interested in a Africa at War tournament, post here. If you have tried the mod, you probably love it, but if you haven't, this tournament will be a great place to try it out. It's a fast paced, very deadly game, created by Frank Lee Harmon, an old, great official SB designer, with lots of user created scenarios. I have three great scenarios lined up, and another theme for this tourney as well, so it should be fun.

If anyone does not have Africa at War installed and running yet, please make sure to try installing and running it when you sign up. It isn't always easy, although it is always possible, so I, and I'm sure others, will be happy to help you get it running.

Installing AAW can be tricky, especially after a few new updates to Pacific War. The key is to make sure that everyone's on the same page. Because it hasn't gotten a ton of play recently, this will be a nice test to see if folks can DL and install the game.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that the owner/creator of AAW is no longer around, so answering questions about the installation are going to be based completely on experience, not ownership. I installed it a long time ago and rarely play it, so TFE4 hosts it, but I'm by no means an expert at installing it!

I'll play. I do have to re-install it though as I have since moved on to W7. Come to think of it, this is the mod that got me to the blitz after Alan helped me with some install problems quite awhile ago.

I will check to see if I have it installed before I sign up. I have had it running in the past and played some fun games but that might of been on the desktop which has been out of action while the study is being decorated. It it isn't I'll see if I can crank it up again on the laptop.
