Scenario Viewer for JTCS

Hello All,

I am fixing to beta test this weekend the first phase of this viewer. 2 members here at the blitz and 1 at the Matrix forum agreed to be the Sod Buster Guinea Pigs. Well here it is in a nutshell.

I got very frustarated with how scenarios are presented in CS and the good work by vadersson a few years did not really get what I wanted so I created a database of known scenarios within the Matrix edition. Starting woth the very first version of CS. This being said I started the database. Now that the database was fairly complete what more did it need.

Graphically pleasing
easy to use
can activate a scenario from with the file
additional user scenario additions
can port to mac, pc or linux
can start scenarios in any installed version of CS even the Talonsoft Version of West Front (of which I still have)

So I came up with this

I have 2 versions of the starting face plate which I will start the sequencing. Please if you have any Ideas or crticisms or any comment please say so....here begins the trek into the void

Next is ok now i know what game i want to play lemme see the scenarios. I did the scearios on how they were rated

thank you...since all my graphics and data is in access is there any way I can make an executable that all can use or am I hemmed into a pdf type environment. Visual Basic is just not my forte'

I believe there's a runtime kit available for Access. That way people who do not have Access could still run your app.

I knew you could dowload it from Microsoft web site but did not realise the size of it... Hmmm... http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/det...x?id=10910

Might still be an interesting choice as it enables everyone to run your db app as it should be used, instead of reverting to plain ole pdfs?

I have Access 2003...that runtime was for 2010 but would that work

There's propably a 2003 version lurking there somewhere. Surely a lot smaller as well. And you would not need it, just the good folks who would use your app but do not have Access.

new shots of OOB's that are going to be tied in to the scenario viewer please view and let me know what you think. This is how I am going to handle the battallion level oob's for all nations.
