How to setup & play PBEM?
Can someone please layout the steps I need to play battles by PBME?

I am a newbie here.....sorry.... Read2

When you open the game you have to select "New game" - "Play by email" and choose a scenario in the file selection dialog. Then the New scenario dialog opens where you have to choose your side, best select "fog of war" and make your "Rules" choices. Click "ok" and the scenario will open. If you are playing the 1st side you will make your moves. Be sure to have "PBEM encryption" checked in the settings menu. When you are finished click "next turn" and you can save the game. Send this .bte file over to your opponent. That's it.

Here is a step by step article that shows you how to set up a PBEM game. Even though the pictures show screen shots from a PzC game, the same procedure is used in the SB series including Op Rules and FOW.
