I don't accept the "no excessive z-fire" rule. I want to have possibility "use z-fire" always, when the combat situation requires it.

I guess we can't get a agreement on supressive fire then,no hard feelings, carry onHelmet Smile

I think - yes. Where criteria of "excessive" z-fire? One turn for me own z-fire will seem to me normal still, but for you - very excessive, and you will accuse me that I break rule. It unacceptably.

Yes there is a very big grey area there, i'd have agree with you on that.

But i have found others who understand very clearly where the line of"excessive z-fire" and reasonable use of z-fire is,generaly those that have been on the wrong end of it.

Ок. Where criteria of "excessive" or "un-excessive" z-fire? All that "others", which understand very clearly where the line of"excessive z-fire", can explain it? Or they only understand very clearly and can't speak about it?

Why YOU haven't told, what is it - "un-excessive" z-fire? I CAN accept some restrictions of z-fire. But what do you mean?

Your rule - isn't clear rule. It is simply indistinct words.

Alrighty, since you persist on this issue,

Reasonable z-fire)mostly used by Hmg's and Mmg's teams/squads,that's what is realistic, and firing on suspect hidden units that are firing on you that are yet unseen.

Excessive) going Rambo-like and firing every shot just because you can with addition of arty,so as to soak up the opponets rally albility which to me goes to being excessive and veers to side of gameyness.

Since we have never played ,i'm not sure which side of the fence you are on,so let's just agree to not agree on a game,OK?

I'm offering such rules about Z-fire:

1. HMG, MMG and LMG squads - no Z-fire limitation.

2. Tanks, SPG, armored cars, APC and similar vehicle - no Z-fire limitation.

3. Flaks, AT-guns - no Z-fire limitation

4. Artillery (mortars, rockets, SPA, howitzers) - 20 hex Z-fire limitation. It means shooting by artillery further than 20 hex (1000 meters) are forbidden.

5. Infantry - can Z-fire on targets that have been identified only (you can see it by any own unit). If target was identified, but covered by smoke, infantry units can Z-fire that hex one turn only. Next turn infantry units can't fire that hex, until covered unit will be found again.

I can accept that reasonable restriction. What about it? Your opinion? Is it OK for you?

Important conditions:
1. 7-15 % artillery limit.
2. Avia/artillery bombarding at 0 turn are forbidden (excepting smoke screen statement).

Another conditions are widely discussing... I can play single scenarios and PBEM campaigns both. I can do 1-4 turns a day.

I´ll play WW2 with you. 10% arty, no pre-bombardment and setup on BASIC security. I´ve got all slots except 007 open.
