Here is my proposal to "reach out" to our inactive Blitz members... and attempt to persuade them to become active members again! Big Grin

Please look at your completed game roster and note any opponents who have been inactive on the CS ladder. Send each inactive player a short PM. Ask them how they are doing and invite them to become active again on the CS ladder!

That's it! Short, simple, and to the point.

I just completed that exercise myself. I "reached out" to three former opponents on the CS Ladder who had been inactive. I sent all three a short PM. I received a reply from one player already... and because of my PM to him... he is seriously considering becoming "active" on the CS Ladder again!

This entire "exercise" took me less than 5 minutes to complete.

This is a "win-win" in my book. Folks "reach out" and reconnect with former opponents... and the club may be rewarded with "new" "old" blood returning that will boost both game and forum activity! Maracas

Please help Operation "Reach Out" succeed... by "reaching out" today! Big Grin2

Nice idea, Mike. I know of a Blitzer who had to walk away for real life issues. He was very active here when I first signed up and also on the old Gamesquad site. Wonder if his situation has changed. Hope his email hasn't, but there's only one way to find out.

I'm Reaching Out! :)

Welcome back, Bertrand. Be sure to check out the ongoing CS "World in Flames" tournament. Join in any time, just let Ashley know and he'll give you a side and assign a game. Drop out when you need to and another member just takes your place:

I've noted that several returning players have been posting and looking for opponents!

Greats news for the Blitz... and for increasing the pool of ready players!

I like to think that Operation "Reach Out" is playing a part in this "resurgence!" ;) Helmet Smile
